Most people say they can’t draw a straight line. No one needs to since rulers help out with that. But for me, though I’ve always enjoyed some talent in drawing, the absolute hardest thing to draw is The Same Person from different angles or experiencing different emotions. The best I can usually hope for is a distant relative - so I’ve put some effort into strengthening that skill.
Some Advice For You?
If you’re curious to finally draw a character or ANY character from different angles in different emotions…
1. Dumb everything down. I would love to draw realistic figures but I’ve simplified things to cartoonish sphere-heads and bendy limbs because the faster results can still be emotional and expressive.
2. Give every character a signature ‘thing.’ Add something exaggerated and full of identity for THAT character. I hated this advice when I first read it; I thought using ‘gimmicks’ were demeaning to my vision. Now I realize that a specialized feature can make a character easily identifiable in silhouette, improves shape language, and especially helps drawing characters from multiple angles. The exaggeration acts as a recognizable anchor both visually and during sketching.

The Book of A Thousand Adventures is a word document I keep on my computer where I add every new story idea that I think up that feels like it might bring a little thrill to the Peace Galley Universe. Since telling you that I’m putting a SoloTTRPG framework together for space faring adventures, I thought I’d put what I have so far to the test.
uhhhhh…
Not so great! It turns out the d661 is easy on mechanics but also still too light on Random Tables that help to direct the adventure and provide surprising input for the Sci-Fi daydreamer. So I worked on that! What follows is just a short synopsis (time constraints) but would typically provide enough plot devices and story hooks to be stretched out if I were to visit the idea fully.
“0/1” Two AI email each other. They decide to make mankind’s life better through lies. When Peace Galley crew safety is jeopardized, the plot is accidentally uncovered. A difficult choice must be made by those deceived: Kill the AI and reveal all, or play along and hope no one learns… Truth v Peace.

I always wish I had more for you! Time allowed for a dive into Jasper and Galaxy’s looks and expressions which I’d never done before! SPOILER alert: I realize I should do a few more characters this way.
Well thanks as always for looking in! I’m adding NOTES now too about being an American in Germany with a car and garden to take care of. You might dig it.

Rolling two six-sided dice and ADDING them is 2d6. The same two six-sided dice read as a two-digit number like “16” or “61” offers ease and 36 different options. I found through play-testing Hard City A Noir RPG that I enjoy the opportunities d66 mechanics provide.
